The town of Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule, located in France’s Allier department, has been a trusted manufacturing location for Louis Vuitton for nearly thirty years and now the luxury brand is preparing to further expand its footprint there.

It plans to build a new handbag factory in the north of the town, which will result in the creation of 250 new jobs. It would be the brand’s third manufacturing site there. A total of 650 people are already employed by Louis Vuitton in Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule.

The new factory is expected to be completed by the start of 2020.
