LVMH announces finalists and judges for design prize

The new edition of the LVMH Prize was a resounding success, with over 1,700 applicants from more than 100 countries, spread over all continents, a record since its launch 6 years ago.
All eight finalists will now present fashion collections they have designed to a panel of high-end judges in Paris in June. The artistic directors of a number of LVMH leathergoods brands, including Jonathan Anderson of Loewe, Kris Van Assche of Berluti, Maria Grazia Chiuri of Christian Dior and Nicolas Ghesquière of Louis Vuitton, will be members of the jury.
Finalists are Kunihiko Morinaga from Japan, Bethany Williams from the UK, Emily Adams Bode from the US, Hed Mayner from Israel, Kenneth Izedonmwen from Nigeria, Spencer Phipps from the US, Stefan Cooke from the UK and Thebe Magugu from South Africa.
