Hong Kong hosts ICT council meeting

In the first session, for ICT delegates only, the organisation’s current president, Lisa Howlett, gave a review of its activities over the previous 12 months. Detailed discussion of ICT efforts in various fields, including on statistics, certification schemes and the promotion of leather, followed.
As usual, the second session of the meeting was open to media and other interested parties. Here, there were presentations on hide supply, the situation in China, traceability and state-of-the-trade country reports from various ICT member countries.
