Lineapelle Innovation Square to return in September 2019

The number of visiting companies was up 2% compared to previous positions, according to the organisers, with 49% of visitors coming from outside of Italy. There was double-digit growth in the number of companies attending from China and the US, as well as “important” increases in visitor numbers from India, Japan and Russia.
The Lineapelle Innovation Square was a forum for developers of new technologies and ideas to pitch to potential investors from inside and outside the leather industry. Co-ordinated by experienced leather industry consultant Federico Brugnoli, it saw 40 speakers from 11 countries take part.
The organisers described this new component as “a winning choice”, citing its success in terms of interest and participation. The Innovation Square is scheduled to return for the September 2019 edition of Lineapelle.
The next edition of the show, its 96th, will be held from February 20-22, 2019.
