TFL successfully finishes REACH registration process

Leather chemicals manufacturer TFL says it has now registered all relevant chemical substances in its products under REACH regulations, saying that the REACH registration process, which has required substantial financial investment by chemical manufacturers, is setting a high standard in chemical safety and management and will help customers avoid supply problems.

Downstream users now have access to extended product safety information via the material safety data sheets of REACH-relevant products.

TFL said that, in a small number of cases, it had to make minor product adjustments because of REACH, but that, in all of these, it worked closely with its customers “to ensure the same final product quality”.
