Awards success for Scottish Leather Group

07/08/2018
The Scottish Leather Group has been recognised with multiple awards from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), a leading UK-based industry body.

The RoSPA Health and Safety Awards receive nominations from all over the world, with companies assessed based on their management systems, working practices, leadership and workforce involvement and engagement.

All of the Scottish Leather Group’s subsidiary companies received a gold award during the 2018 programme, including Andrew Muirhead & Son (for the seventh consecutive time) and SLG Technology (for the third consecutive time). In addition, J & W Lang, NCT Leather and Bridge of Weir all received gold awards for the first time.

Following the announcement, the chief executive of the Scottish Leather Group, Iain McFadyen, said: “Scottish Leather Group takes health and safety extremely seriously, from the boardroom to the shop floor, and we thank everyone across the organisation for the commitment required to achieve these gold standards, across every company in our group. We are extremely proud of this commitment, not only within the company to employees and contractors, but to all who interact with us.”
