TFL pushes water-based finishing products in new trends catalogue

Leather chemicals manufacturer TFL has released its Color Trends catalogue for the spring-summer 2020 fashion season.

It has divided colour trends for the season into ‘wearing’ and ‘living’ categories, the first for garments, footwear and accessories and the second for interior design.

With sustainability an important theme, especially in ‘living’, the company has sought to make leathers finished with water-based products a particular feature of the catalogue collection. To help with this, it has introduced two new water-based top coats for high-gloss finishes; the products are Roda Pur 5805/N2 and Roda Fix 5090. These can be used alone or as a glossy component to achieve “the most demanding standards of fastness”, TFL said.
