The chief digital officer of LVMH, Ian Rogers, has told Italian media that the luxury group’s revenue from e-commerce now stands at €3 billion, around 7% of its total turnover.

He also revealed that this figure is increasing by around 30% per year, meaning online sales are likely to be the key growth driver for LVMH in the coming years.

As part of its strategy to grow its online revenue, LVMH last year set up 24 Sèvres, an online platform selling fashion, beauty and luggage products from a range of brands, many of which are its own.
