Delvaux remains ambitious for 2018

Reports from Belgium say the oldest leathergoods brand in the world, Delvaux, continues to come up with new plans for 2018.

In addition to the announcement earlier in the year that it is preparing to follow in the footsteps of companies such as Louis Vuitton and Hermès by opening a new finished product workshop in France in the coming months, it has important retail projects in the pipeline too.

Delvaux already has two luxury leathergoods factories across the border in France; its aim is to have the third production facility up and running in in Avoudrey, in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region in October 2018.

At the same time, the leathergoods brand is also preparing to open its first own-brand boutique in the US, having selected a site in Manhattan with a scheduled opening for autumn 2018.
