Double-digit increase for Vietnam’s footwear exports

Vietnam’s footwear exports reached $11.8 billion in the first 10 months of the year – a 13% increase on last year.

The country’s leather and footwear association, Lefaso, said there had been large increases in orders from Indonesia, Singapore and India.

It is targeting $18 billion by year end, which would be 10% more than last year.

Local publication VietnamNetBridge reported the sector is aiming to reach $24-26 billion in exports by 2020, $35-38 billion by 2025 and $50-60 billion by 2035.
