Low Turkish turnout at ACLE

Turkish leather industry observers have expressed surprise at the low number of tanners from there who attended the 2017 All China Leather Exhibition in Shanghai.

More than 20 Turkish tanners and finished leather product manufacturers have offices or agents in China and Hong Kong and some of them even keep inventory in the region, demonstrating the importance of the Chinese market to the Turkish industry.

However, the total number of Turkish exhibitors at ACLE in 2017 was 11, including industry associations, chemicals manufacturers and suppliers of non-leather products, as well as tanners.
