Lanxess highlights four leather themes for autumn-winter 2018-2019

The company said on releasing the information that it wanted to create “a real competitive advantage” for designers and tanners, helping them to implement new trends early.
It has identified four main trends for the autumn-winter 2018-2019 season: L’Inizio, Tempo Per Scollegare, Nel Corso del Tempo and Il Corso.
L’Inizio is the beginning of a new season, when we let time flow freely and we embrace the already cold scent of the winter, Lanxess said on making the announcement. Autumn comes along with long and dark lights and light golden tones. The leaves of trees are blown through the air and dress us in amazing colours.
Then, time stops and proposes a reunion with our deepest thoughts that become strong and dramatic, the company continued. Thus, giving way to this season of the year that brings darkness, shades of blue and purple that connect along with the organic colour of orange.
In the third trend, time flies and our lingering, mature thoughts advance the emergence of moving surfaces from the world of technics and industry, composed of geometric shapes inspired by the faint light of winter. Monochromatic colours are blended, flowing and intertwining with clear and calm colours.
Finally, the colours grow close to the brown of the earth and the red of winter fruits. They do not seem to be altered and they paint archeological forms, sorted randomly over time.
