Lectra prepares for third automotive leather conference

Leather cutting technology provider Lectra will run its third annual automotive leather conference at its research centre at Cestas, near Bordeaux, on April 19 and 20.

For the 2017 event, the theme will be what Industry 4.0, linking production to automation and the internet, will mean for automotive leather.

As well as demonstrations of technology that Lectra  is already labelling as Industry 4.0-compliant, there will be presentations from business people who are farther along the path to Industry 4.0 than most automotive leather suppliers
