Positive March results for Brazilian hides

Brazilian hide exports for the month of March 2017 brought in $192.6 million, which represents year-on-year growth of 3.8%.

There was also growth in the volume of hide exports with an increase of 17.2% compared to the same month in 2016. “This is one of the highest quantities exported by Brazil in a single month in recent years,” said Rogério Cunha, head of the trade intelligence unit of tanning industry association CICB.
