LVMH holds second vocational training fair

Luxury group LVMH hosted a second successful vocational training fair on March 29. It launched the initiative, which it calls the LVMH Institut des Métiers d’Excellence Village, in 2016.

Its aim in holding this event is to give young people a chance to discover the range of work, study and training programmes that the group has in place in professions that involve artisanal craftsmanship. Leather is one of the sectors to feature.

The 2017 event took place in the Paris suburb of Clichy-sous-Bois. Students from schools in the local area took part, giving LVMH a chance to meet potential new apprentices. A number of local public sector partners and associations also took part.
