Tata showcases leather garments and shoes at IILF fashion event
Leather manufacturing group Tata International showcased its 2017 range of leather garments and footwear at the fashion show that took place in parallel with this year’s India International Leather Fair in Chennai.

Speaking about the event, which took place at the city’s Taj Coromandel hotel on February 2, the company’s global head of footwear and leather products, Mr N Mohan, commented: “We are very pleased to showcase Tata International’s leather garments and footwear collection at the thirty-second India International Leather Fair fashion show. Combining our techniques with quality materials, good value and a diverse product range, as always, each of our collections is a reflection of our core value: fashion-forward shoes that do not compromise on feeling good.”

Two collections of leather garments were on display at the show. The ‘Candy Crush’ collection used vivid colours and unusual forms in “a tour to the fantasy candy world”. For its part, the ‘Indo-western Fusion’ collection added an Indian touch to western silhouettes, “portraying bold Indian women to showcase the modern rebranding of feminism”.

The fashion show also saw a line-up of the latest footwear collections from the company’s Aerosoles and Bachi brands.
