Vaccarello leans on leather in first Saint Laurent collection

Anthony Vaccarello presented his first collection for fashion brand Yves Saint Laurent at Paris Fashion Week (September 27-October 5).

Those in attendance in Paris on the first day of the event saw a Spring/Summer 2017 collection that had leather as a key feature. Primarily in black, it featured in micro-mini skirts, bomber jackets, coats and dresses, as well as in a variety of footwear.

The Italian-Belgian fashion designer took over from Hedi Slimane as creative director of the brand in April 2016.
