Brazilian tanners take delivery of more hides in Q2

Brazilian tanners acquired just over 8.6 million bovine hides in the course of the second quarter of 2016, according to official figures released by state statistics authority, IBGE.

This figure repesents a 3% increase on the number of hides tanners processed in the first quarter of 2016 and a jump of 5.6% compared to the second quarter of 2015.
