ICLT director delivers Wilson Memorial Lecture

She chose leather education as her subject, focusing on “preserving the past and investing in the future”. She said education is of critical importance because large numbers of people working in the industry today will retire in the next few years. Demand for high-quality candidates to come into the industry to succeed them is increasing, she said, and this is putting heavy reliance on higher education.
The lecture took place on June 23 at ALCA’s 112th Annual Convention at Wheeling, West Virginia.
