Pakistan footwear body seeks international consultant

The Pakistan Footwear Manufacturers’ Association (PFMA) has said consultants around the world have until June 10 to apply for a role of advising shoe producers in the Asian country on design, materials, skills training, marketing, supply chain, production techniques, fashion trends and international requirements.

It has said it hopes input from an industry expert from outside Pakistan will help shoe manufacturers there produce footwear that comes closer to meeting the standards of even the most demanding international markets.
