Luxury leathergoods manufacturer Pittards has appointed Matthew O’Rourke as its new chief financial officer. He will take over in the role on June 1 and succeeds Jill Williams, who will step down as finance director to become a non-executive director on the company’s board.

Mr O’Rourke arrives at Pittards from footwear brand Clarks where he was finance director for the supply chain having previously served as finance director for the UK and Ireland.

“I am delighted to welcome Matthew to the company in this senior position bringing relevant industry experience from which the company will benefit as it enters its next strategic phase,” said Pittards chairman Stephen Yapp.
