Ongoing growth for Tyson

US packer and tanning group Tyson has reported $40.6 billion in sales for 2015, an increase of 9% compared to the previous year. From this amount, the company achieved earnings of $2.25 billion, which represents a year-on-year increase of 37%.

In the course of 2015, Tyson slaughtered an average of 128,000 head of cattle per week across its 12 facilities in the US. It has predicted growth of between 1.5% and 3% for its beef business in 2016.
