Turkish tanners hope for a fresh start at APLF

More than 70 Turkish companies will travel to Hong Kong to take part this year and will organise events such as fashion shows to exhibit leather garments made from Turkish nappa and double-face.
Companies are hopeful of taking orders for these leathers from new customers to make up, they have said, for the business they have lost from the Russian market. Orders from Russia have long been the mainstay of the Turkish leather industry. Now, for economic and political reasons, trade between the two has diminished considerably.
