Sri Lanka event concludes successfully

The 2016 Sri Lanka Footwear & Leather Fair has concluded successfully. Organised by the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDF) and the country’s Ministry of Industry & Commerce, Industrial Development Board (IDB) and the Sri Lanka Footwear and Leather Products Manufacturers Association (SLFLPMA), the event ran in Colombo from February 5-7.
 
At this, the eighth edition of the event, 106 local companies took part alongside 24 overseas exhibitors, from countries including Oman, Sweden, Kenya, UAE and India.
 
Sri Lanka's footwear and leather exports had a value of $110 million in 2015.
