Hermès bags worth €500,000 stolen from Paris warehouse

Police in France have said a break-in at a warehousing complex has resulted in the loss of luxury handbags with an estimated value of €500,000.

The warehouse, located in the Mitry-Compans industrial zone, 40 kilometres from the centre of Paris, was used by luxury leathergoods company Hermès. Police said the thieves gained access through a skylight.
