Iran could look for overseas help in improving manufacturing

29/10/2015
Iran’s government announced what analysts at Frost & Sullivan have called “a new road map for manufacturing” with a number of sectors, including leather, earmarked to have key roles in the country’s economic development.

The plan outlines increasing capacities in a number of industries over the next ten years to create more added value and boost gross domestic product.

In recent comments, Ali Mirmohammad, Frost & Sullivan’s senior consultant and business development manager for Iran, said of the situation there: “Innovation, efficiency and quality are three key concerns in the manufacturing sector and the government would like to attract foreign partners to import new technologies and standards.”
