Change at the top for Pakistan’s leather garments sector

Pakistan’s leather garments manufacturers’ and exporters’ association (PLGMEA) has elected Ahmed Zulfiqar Hayat as its chairman for 2015-2016. This is the sixth time Mr Ahmed has been elected to the role. He will also serve as chairman for the central zone.

At the same meeting, Rizwan Rashid was elected as PLGMEA chairman for the southern zone, with
Osama Abid as vice-chairman, while Khalid Jahangir and Ehsan-ul-Haque were elected to the same roles for the northern zone.
