Creative capability, resource utilisation, education, quality and efficiency are the main areas in which CLIA has said it wants the Chinese leather industry still to make progress. In keeping with this, the themes for the annual general meeting will be to encourage companies in the Chinese leather sector to focus on ‘Made in China’ and on innovation.
For its part, the forum will focus on discussions about how to upgrade the industry and how to accomplish better branding.
Delegates will also visit the All China Leather Industry, taking place in Shanghai from August 31 to September 2.
