Lamebo CEO is new Assomac president

Ms Marchioni Bocca, chief executive of Turin-based splitting band knife manufacturer Lamebo, was confirmed as the new Assomac president at the association’s annual general meeting in Vigevano in early July. She was previously vice-president of the organisation.
In outlining her priorities for her presidency, she said she wanted Assomac to be, more than ever, a home for engineering entrepreneurs and a point of reference for the tanning machinery sector. She put emphasis on internal and external communication to boost the Association’s visibility in Italy and around the world, on expanding members’ involvement in the work of Assomac and on training, especially for younger people in the sector, describing this as an investment in the association’s future.
