Brazilian delegation to pay return visit to India

India’s Council for Leather Exports (CLE) has set up a special event immediately after the 2015 India International Leather Fair in Chennai to bring Indian and Brazilian tanners together.

A delegation of ten leading Brazilian tanners will travel to India for the fair, which runs from February 1-3. On February 5, Indian companies that sign up to take part will be able to hold face-to-face meetings with the Brazilian tanners.

CLE has said it hopes to encourage discussions on the supply of raw materials and the possibility of joint-venture collaboration between Brazilian and Indian companies. The special event will also be a follow-up to a visit to Brazil by a CLE delegation in August 2014.
