Bangladesh prepares for Leathertech event

Organisers of the 2014 Leathertech Bangladesh event in Dhaka have said the senior secretary of the country’s ministry of commerce, Hedayetullah Al Mamoon, will preside over the official opening ceremony on November 27.

The event will showcase machinery, components, dyes and chemicals, accessories and other components for leather, footwear and leathergoods. The organisers told local media before the start that they were expecting nearly 100 exhibitors from India, China, Turkey, Japan, Italy, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh to take part.
