Leather unaffected by BASF board changes
The supervisory board of chemicals manufacturer BASF has appointed Sanjeev Gandhi to the board of executive directors, with effect from December 1. Mr Gandhi has been head of BASF’s intermediates division since 2010.

After 12 years on the board, Dr. Andreas Kreimeyer is to stand down after the company’s annual shareholder meeting on April 30, 2015, when his contract expires. As a result, the board has decided to redistribute its responsibilities from May 1, 2015.

Dr Michael Heinz (pictured) will continue to be the director of the performance chemicals division, which includes BASF’s leather chemicals business unit.
