JBS appoints new director of communications

Mr Mello will report directly to group chief executive, Wesley Batista.
Before taking up his new position at JBS, Mr Mello was responsible for corporate affairs at retail group Wal-Mart Brasil.
On announcing the appointment, Mr Batista said Wilson Mello was an example of JBS’s determination to keep strengthening its executive team and to keep making the company “more and more professional”.
