Best ever February sales for BMW group

Automotive group BMW said its sales in February 2014 were the best ever for the second month of they year. Across all its brands, it sold 141,093 cars, 5.6% more than in the same month last year. And for the first two months of this year, the figure is 273,999 vehicles, an increase of 6.6%.

“February was another record month for us,” said sales and marketing director, Ian Robertson, on announcing the figures. “New models coming out this year, such as the 2 Series Active Tourer and 4 Series Gran Coupé we just premiered to great reviews at the Geneva Motor Show, will give us the momentum to keep growing in 2014.”
