New leather exhibition for Fuxin

The China Leather Industry Association has inaugurated the first North Leather Exhibition in Fuxin, Liao Ning province, home to a new development which is expected to house the largest concentration of tanneries and leathergoods manufacturers in China on completion.

The 10 square kilometre Leather Zone will include a tanning district, a leathergoods district, commercial logistics district and a waste treatment district.

More than 71 companies have signed up to the zone, and the Investment Promotion Department has set out a number of preferential policies to attract tanners from home and overseas, and to provide possible support for companies that wish to establish in the zone.
