Tannery of the Year to recognise innovation in special bonus award

As in previous years, there will be regional Tannery of the Year awards for Africa, the Americas, Asia excluding China, China and Europe. Finalists who miss out on the regional awards will receive a special Highly Commended accolade.
The high-point of the evening will come right at the end when one of the five regional winners will be named as global Tannery of the Year.
However, the World Leather team has picked out one particular highlight from the magazine’s in-depth reports on each of the finalists, demonstrating the commitment to innovation that Tannery of the Year finalists must display. As a special bonus award this time around, one finalist will be chosen as the inaugural winner of a new award called Tannery of the Year: Innovation Award 2013.
All the innovation highlights to have emerged from this third programme of Tannery of the Year will feature in an extensive report on innovation in the April-May issue of World Leather.
Once again, we congratulate all finalists in their success so far and wish them good luck in the final itself.
