Brazilian Leather at the 24th Le Cuir A Paris

01/02/2013
Three tanneries will represent the Brazilian leather industry at the February 2013 edition of Le Cuir À Paris, at the Villepinte exhibition centre in the French capital from February 12-14.

With the support of CICB, the Brazilian tanning industry association, Berlonzi, Best Brasil and Nova Kaeru will take part in the exhibition.

Most exhibitors will show the leather colours and textures they believe will be in demand among fashion buyers in summer 2014. However, the Brazilian leather companies will present samples for what will be the autumn-winter 2014-2015 season in the northern hemisphere, allowing leather sourcing professionals to look even further ahead.

All three Brazilian companies have taken part in a special Leather Preview project, run by external trade development agency Apex-Brazil and CICB will use the occasion to show samples developed by 15 other Brazilian tanning companies for the same project.

This will be the fourteenth trip to Le Cuir À Paris for Berlonzi owner, Claudermir Lorenzi; he is well known in the French capital for his brightly coloured, artistic leather, which takes its inspiration from nature and the environment.

For its part, Best Brasil will present designs it has developed using silkscreen printing in high definition, with new trends in animal print that can be applied to shoes, handbags and accessories.

Nova Kaeru will help Brazil add an exotic touch to the event, with its fish, ostrich and caiman leathers. Fish skins will be a particular highlight.
