Tannery among the beneficiaries of development loan idea in Namibia

A tannery in the meat-producing region of Omaheke in eastern Namibia is one of the companies to have secured funding from the Development Bank of Namibia (DBN) in the third quarter of 2012.

In total, DBN made available more than $25 million in development loans to private-sector

In Omaheke, one of the applications it approved was from the Witvlei Tannery, in the town of the same name. Another loan in the same part of the country went to an abattoir in Gobabis.
