Alfred Dunhill names new CEO

UK-based menswear brand Alfred Dunhill, a leathergoods specialist, has appointed a new chief executive.

Eraldo Poletto joins the company from Italian leathergoods retailer Furla, and has previously held roles at menswear company Brooks Brothers.

The news comes days after Christopher Colfer stepped down. He had been CEO at Dunhill since 2005 and is reportedly taking a position in management at parent group Richemont.

Mr Poletto will begin his new role from November 5.
