Smit & Zoon survey confirms company direction
08/05/2012
Smit & Zoon, a seventh-generation family firm, has said the internal improvements will concentrate on sustainability, strengthening operations and improving service levels. “The key to this is our people and we are proud that our customers confirm that we work with a strong service-oriented team of professionals,” the company said. It pointed out that it has a strong financial position and will continue to invest in these improvements, in spite of the challenging economic times.
A recent customer satisfaction survey confirmed that these improvements were the key to helping it become its customers’ preferred partner.
Specifically, it will continue to focus on sustainable innovations for wet-end solutions to complement its Safetan product range. It will also develop its finishing business through its Italy-based subsidiary, Smit Finishing.
Explaining the reasons behind its decision to carry out a customer satisfaction survey at this time, Smit & Zoon said: “We find it important to know what our customers think about us. The satisfaction survey is just another tool to support our drive for continuous improvements. It was therefore good to have confirmation that our internal projects, and the strong focus on innovative developments and customer service to improve our company, is the right way.”
