Shafi Reso-Chem presents new products
Pakistan-based speciality chemical manufacturing company Shafi Reso-Chem (SRC) has announced a range of new wet-end and finishing products for the leather industry.
Included in the new products range are: ‘RESOFINISH CM-40’, a resin compound binder for versatile use in finishing. It is used in pigmented base coat for achieving good rub fastness, and SRC claims it is an eco-friendly product.
‘RESOFINISH 1020’ is an acrylic co-polymer emulsion. It is used in pigmented base coat to get high rub fastness.
‘RESO FIXATIVE’ is a formaldehyde-free fixing and cross linking agent. It is used to fix protein containing aqueous finishes and top coat.
‘RESOFIX RDCi’ is a synergistic blend of acids and SRC says it is an eco-friendly product. It is used to regulate pH during tanning without altering the strength. It is also used as a fixing agent for dyes and fat-liquors.
‘PHILTAN R-107’ is a dicyandiamide resin, suitable for re-tanning of all types of leather. It gives fullness to empty parts of skins and improves grain tightness.
