Shanghai leather conference attracts 120 executives
Shanghai Richina Leather (SRL) and joint venture partner GST Autoleather hosted a supplier conference at their Shanghai facilities on June 7. According to the two firms, 120 trade representatives including suppliers, technical advisors and other service providers attended the event.
The programme included a business review and strategy update, tours of the facility and a visit to Shanghai’s World Expo.

Huang Zhi Feng, vice mayor of Fuxin, gave a presentation on Fuxin’s new leather park and infrastructure as SRL is currently constructing new state-of-the-art wet blue facility in Fuxin.
Participants came from a range of companies including Tyson Foods, JBS Swift, Twin City Tanning, BASF, Stahl, Clariant, Lanxess, TFL, Trumpler, Dystar, Union Chemical, Novozymes, Adina, Tannin, Buckman, Olcina, Bergi, Bauce, Rizzi and Xinji Julong Machinery, BLC and SGS.
