New leadership at Loewe

Luxury goods group LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton has appointed Lisa Montague chief executive officer of Loewe, its Spanish leathergoods and accessories Maison.

Ms Montague will be based at the brand’s Loewe's headquarters in Madrid and will report to Pierre-Yves Roussel, CEO LVMH fashion division.

Having studied at Middlesex Polytechnic of London, she started a career in fashion and retail with the Hucke and De Keyser groups. In 1998, she received accreditation from the Institute of Directors of London, while pursuing her career with Cerruti 1881, where she held several positions including sales vice president in the US, and international sales manager and managing director for the UK. In 2000, she joined the Mulberry Group as brand director before becoming chief operating officer in 2003.
