Positive results at Piquadro
Italy-based leather producer Piquadro has posted improved results for the year ended March 31.
Consolidated turnover for the year rose 12.4% to EUR 51.7 million compared with EUR 45.9 million the previous year. Retail revenues rose more than 49% while wholesale revenues rose 7.4%.
The domestic market accounted for around 78%, or EUR 40.6 million, of the group’s revenues, a rise of 14.6% year-on-year. Revenues from other European countries rose 2.7% to EUR 9 million, with a share of around 17.5%. For the 16 countries the company sells to in the rest of the world, revenues were approximately EUR 2 million, up 18.4%.
Net profit for the year rose 15.9% from EUR 6.5 million in the previous year to EUR 7.5 million.
