High standards at UK leather museum
Mystery guests at the Leather Museum in Walsall, UK, gave the museum really positive views.
An independent assessor commissioned by VisitBritain found that the museum, which was established 21 years ago, offered visitors an “excellent day out”.
Visitors to the museum are given information about the social history of the leather industry. It was commended for its varied content and for its presentation.
According to museum curator Mike Glasson, the museum aims to highlight the achievements of the local leather industry. He claims many visitors have made repeated visits to the museum.
