South African exhibitors steal the show at Le Bourget
Event organiser Messe Frankfurt has said including a leather component in the fashion-focused events it holds each autumn at Le Bourget, near Paris, was a success. Alongside well known events such as Apparel Sourcing and Avantex, it ran Leatherworld Paris for the first time in September 2018, attracting 44 exhibitors from six countries.

Twelve of these exhibitors represented South Africa and, according to the organiser, helped create a positive mood for visitors. South Africa had ‘special focus’ status at the event and producers of leather bags, shoes, clothes and so on also received the help and encouragement of SAFLEC, the South African Leather Export Council, to attend.

Messe Frankfurt has announced that it will run Leatherworld Paris again from February 11-14, 2019.
