Le Cuir à Paris, which ran February 10-13 in Paris, attracted 257 exhibitors, up 10% compared with last February’s edition. Furthermore, 28 of these were exhibiting for the first time.

Exhibitors came from 19 countries including Italy (57% of the exhibition area), France (22%), and Spain (7%). A new participating country was represented by Iliari from Peru which presented peccary leather.

Visitor numbers fell slightly to 9,991 visits compared with 10,649 in February 2008. However, there was greater participation from French buyers (+8%) and international buyers from Germany (+4%), Brazil (+17%), Denmark (+15%) and the UK (+1.1%).
