Head of TDKD, the Turkish Leather Garment Manufacturers Association, Ramazan Hazar, believes there is a real opportunity to increase Turkish leathergoods exports to Russia.

Mr Hazar believes leathergoods exports could rise by as much as 50% if currency effects are exploited. He considers Russia to be one of the key markets for the Turkish leather industry and is hoping to organise meetings between industry representatives from both countries to promote bilateral trade.
