Further job cuts at Land of Leather
Reports indicate that more jobs at UK-based furniture chain may be under threat. Employees have reportedly been told they may be out of work as administrators have, as yet, been unable to find a buyer.
The company was forced to call in administrators on January 12 conceded that 33 of the company’s 109 stores would have to close. More than 100 jobs are thought to have been affected.
It is believed administrators are in talks with interested parties but that no agreement has yet been made. Store closures and redundancies would be inevitable if a buyer does not come forward.
