REACH-IT systems to be upgraded

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) is to upgrade REACH-IT on February 13-16 to address performance issues related to the searching and viewing of pre-registrations and pre-SIEFs, and the pre-SIEF XML download.

A new version of REACH-IT was installed on January 5 to support the submission of all types of dossiers and SIEF formation after pre-registration. However, the performance of the system turned out to be below expectations and ECHA upgraded it for the first time in late January.

Since then, the system has been more stable and downtime has been practically eliminated. Despite this, a more comprehensive system upgrade will be installed over the coming weekend in order to address remaining performance issues.
